laura--

i really enjoy your ideas of taking everyday objects, painting them red, and then displaying them in an nontraditional way. incorporating the ceiling above displays is something i am ALL FOR. i think that we do need to create dimension in the space since we have been limited to a 12' drop ceiling with a standard grid [blahhh].

love the shoe idea as well-- WAY COOl! i'm sure suzanne told the class- but kenneth brown did say that you all may take anything from the family store [without charge] and use them in displays...refurbish..etc for the new store :)

keep us the great ideas!

Laura,
I love all your ideas. The hanging red fixtures is really neat, and of course splashes of red throughout the store and displays is totally my cup of tea. :) you're inspiring all sorts of new ideas for me. thanks!
