Wayfinding sketches

This is my starting point at my home in Raleigh.
There are several wayfinders in a row;

the door, the stairs, the sidewalk, and the street.

I pass through an intersection at Moore Square which functions as a node.
The Long View Center to the right is a landmark.

Krispy Kreme is a landmark.

As I near downtown Greensboro the speed limit decreases.
In this way, the speed limit functions as a wayfinder for any downtown.

I turn at the intersection of E. Lee and S. Eugene Streets.
This intersection functions as a node.
Also, E. Lee st. and the railroad run parallel to one another
here creating an edge to downtown.

The Shell Station at the same intersection is a landmark.
I remember it from every trip I have taken to Greensboro.

At Goodwill, two flags mark an important entrance.
They are wayfinders.
